HAPPY HALLOWEEN.!!!!!----BOOOO, LOL. Lots and lots of trout. More trout than I ever seen before. Stealhead and Browns, of course. Every year has been getting better. I have lots of pictures I have to convert. I will put up tomorrow. Everything has slowed down. There are still salmon in the river. THEY ARE LOWERING THE WATER FROM 1150CFS TO 750CFS(1 GATE) ON THURSDAY AT 9PM. FRIDAY'S FISHING WILL BE PHENOMENAL!!!!! TROUT ARE COMING IN & COHO'S ARE GETTING COLOR. It will be a bloodbath!!!!!MMmmm delicious fish's.

We had some rain today!!!!! Fish were running into the black hole yesterday real good for a while. Nice trout coming in!!! The big runs are about to start. Ball park doing good today for a while. Fish came up in town. People were catching them. Some people didn't want to deal with the crowd in the ball park and I don't blame them. Some people had a ball. Fish were down back today. I was wrong about the river raising---it's next weekend. Sorry about that folks. I deleted the part of the report that said that to not confuse any else----sorry again. They did raise it from 185cfs to 335cfs but that didn't do a great job of bringing in the fish. Been raining here and there and that will help for next weekend. Douglaston saw a few--not many. ---Fish On.-----Stoney

Well here we are again!!! Some fish did come up the last time they raised the water for the kayakers a few weeks ago. My buddy Lenny caught a nice 20 pounder in the ball park. Since then the water has been low. There are smallmouth bass and some browns in the river. They are catching some big ones in the lake. Some fish are already staging in the estuary. We need a nice flow and some rain. As long as this happens the fish should be in somewhat early. Reservations are starting to really come in so if you haven't planned your trip yet, now is the time to do it.

Well, it's been cold. It's been snowing. People are catching fish. There is a lot of fish in the river. Last few days the bight has slowed down a bit, with the cold weather we have been having. It's just a matter of finding the right thing to use at the right time, I guess. Some are doing better than others. Heres (from left to right) Bob, Ralph and Chris with some real nice Steelies. Pictures 2-4 are my son Josh in his shanty, me ready to go to sleep in my jetsled, right before they carted me around with me snoring and them laughing (I was the horizontal supervisor). Sean and Kevin were with us also (they are in pictures 5 & 6 from previous place). Picutre 3 is of my fish tv on the bottom of Sandy Pond. Here are some photo's I last took. There's my son Tyler with a Beautiful Big Brown. We have been getting beaten by snow. It seems to be relentless. I am already sick of winter (gonna be long). People are still catching them. Only, there is hardly any people. Water is high but they are getting them in the creeks. Diversions on the river are doing good. We have a special on drift boat trips for 2 people for $225 from November 7 to the 14th. I have more pictures. I'll put them on later.

BEHOLD!!!!!
It rained, it snowed. River is up to 1150cfs. I have never seen so many steelhead , browns, and coho in my life. The river should go down real soon. I'll say it again, "THE YEAR OF THE COHO". It is supposed to get warm again. When the water goes down, there will be no people and lots of fish. First fish is a Coho Cream Dream and the last one is a 32.5lb. King. What a run!!!! We were slammin'!! Fish have slowed down a bit in town but at this end of the river seems to be where it is happening. We have been seeing a huge influx of Steelies and Browns. HERE ARE DA PICTURES!!!! Last fish is a mix-breed called a coh-hook or kingho or chinho, whatever you like best. Sorry about the delay in reports. It took a kick in the ass from Arizona Ed to sit down and make it as usual. FISH ARE IN. First picture is an Atlantic salmon 10lbs. Get your asses up. big runs are starting. We did get a nice run a little while ago from the high winds from hurricane Ike. Fishing was good for a while, then slowed down and now is good again. Lots of fish came in 2 days ago. People are seeing fish and they are on the move. The Coho record was a cross-breed, which cancels a new record of course. Chin-ho or co-hook, oh-well. It is raining now and it will rain the next few days. fish are running.---Stoney
